I also thought that I would put in a picture of one of Sam's first big smiles. I was putting him in the carseat and had his "binker" (pacifier) backwards in my mouth and he thought that it was one of the funniest things.
We just can't believe how much he has grown and changed in the past 2 1/2 months. We can't wait to see how much he changes in the next few months. Alex loves the fact that Sam lets him hold his hand and snuggle up next to him. They really have quite the bond. Whenever Sam is upset Alex goes over to him and tells him "Don't be sad Sam, everything is ok." and gives him a kiss.
Alex and Daddy were having some fun at Grandma and Grandpa's last weekend. Alex decided that he had daddy should both wear daddy's coat.
Now on to some updates about Sam's adoption. The last visit with the social worker has come and gone. We will miss seeing Michelle but at the same time we are excited that we are one step closer to finalization. All of our paperwork is notarized and sent into the lawyer. She is just waiting a couple things and then they can petition the court for a trial date. We are very excited and can't wait to have a little celebration with family for Sam. Until then we are just going to continue keeping up with our busy schedules and trying to fit in as much family time as possible.
